We were able to have Kim and Ryan stay in Soda since Peyton had a baseball tourney there. Lucky for Taylor Vaughans were also playing so she was able to see an play with Kesler her BFF. It was fun for Kade to play with DJ and Tay had fun with Jack. They were having fun tackling each other in the tent!
Taylor is quite the little monkey and lives climbing everything. She has for some muscles too! She climbed to the top of our flag pole. A bit dangerous in sure but she felt pretty cool.

Park City Vacation

The weekend after the independence day holiday we went to park city as we had tickets to go zip lining in Provo canyon. We stayed at condo the first night then in SLC hotel second night. It was a good getaway. Again--not enough pics which I am feeling guilty about. I didn't take my camera or phone ziplining but Forrest, Sierra, Rase, Brian and I went. Shannon thankfully watches kiddos. During this trip we also had tix to go to REAl salt lake soccer game. We went to the new city creek mall and temple square. It was all good until we were going to get lunch and Rase called to tell us the window in our truck was busted. We thought maybe just heat combustion until we realized all our stuff was stolen including Taylors new monkey nah with a lot of her new birthday clothes, Brian's bag, Cody's diaper bag, GPS, video camera, camera, laptop, tablet, ect... It was terrible as we had not downloaded anything from our video camera over last few years!!! Terrible!!!! I am just glad we were all safe! But it seems when it rains it pours. Our washer had just broke as well!

Taylor is SIX!!

Since we don't have a camera my posts are not that great and I miss a lot of great photo ops. But we should be getting a new camera soon!! By missing photo ops I mean Taylor's birthday picture :(. She got a monkey bag filled with new fun summer clothes. She said she only wanted a toothbrush an flip flops for her birthday. Hahaha. Brian brought her home flip flops from Oklahoma as one of her prizes and a camelbak. So, her birthday was a little difficult to shop for. I hate buying toys that will just sit there. She wanted and all pink cake since Kaden had an all blue cake. Her birthday was on a Sunday so it wasn't too exciting. She kept asking if she looked older and taller and then towards the end of the day she said, "this isn't that much different that any other day!" poor Tay. Maybe soon we will give her a fun birthday!!

Hike up city creek

A few Sunday ago we went for a hike up city creek on one of the higher trails (less people). It was a wonderful hike. It's a little upsetting that we hoped todo this every Sunday but it has been so stinking hot that we have not been able to enjoy this summer as much as we would have liked.

Kaden is FOUR!!

Kaden turned four on June 5th. It seems like we celebrated his birthday that whole weekend. His birthday was on a Tuesday and Brian was going to be gone to Oklahoma for work so we decided to celebrate early. On Saturday before his final game he got his presents. A couple new outfits, spiderman, and a new bike!!! We decided not to do cake and ice cream that night since grandma Cindy and grandpa Danny came into town and we went to get some fro-yo!! So we did cake and ice cream on Sunday and then on his real birthday we went to pizza pie cafe for dinner. Kaden has grown up alot since his birthday. He still has his days but we are hoping the terrible 2's and 3'a are far behind us!!
